Vincent Le Pés III

Vincent is a photographer, illustrator and musician based in the Midwest United States.

Vincent bounced between the arts from a young age, always studying and making things. His formative years were mostly spent drawing, making photographs and playing trumpet. In his college years he added guitarist, composer and writer to his quest for new expression. He later pursued a career in web design and development that evolved into user experience and branding while still finding a personal outlet playing bass and recording with various St. Louis area bands. This unfocused but holistic approach to creativity has given Vincent a unique view that he hopes to refine and share with the world.

In 2016, after a decade working in design, Vincent turned away from his career as an agency art director to pursue his passions for making personal work. He began making videos about the creative process and gained a small but wonderfully supportive following on YouTube. This has inspired him to push himself further and take his viewers on an artistic journey.

Vincent is now actively pursuing more ambitious artistic photography series and documenting the process to share an honest and intimate view of trying to make creative work that expresses his viewpoint to the world. His intent is to share the entire creative process as he works through it—including any failures, surprises, successes, mistakes and inspiration that appear along the way. He hopes that through this transparency he will inspire—and perhaps provide an often needed sense of 'permission' to—others whose ambition is clouded by fears to explore more deeply and work harder to achieve their own dreams.
